The Halloween Contest! ...

Here's the deal:
We're having two Halloween Contests in One!
The BEST AVATAR and the BEST JACK-O-LANTERN POST.

1. BEST AVATAR:
Two possible winners:
-"Best Jack-O-Lantern Avatar" and
-"Best Non-Jack-O-Lantern Avatar Related to Halloween."

2. BEST JACK-O-LANTERN POST:
Three possible winners"
-"Best 'Found' Pictures of Jack-O-Lantern(s)"
-"Best Personally-Created Jack-O-Lantern" and
-"Best Non-Jack-O-Lantern Post Related to Halloween."

PLUS:
We will award a SPECIAL BEST STINKER OF THE SEASON Award for any entry that is so incredibly scary, awful or outstandingly moronic that it just doesn't qualify or fit any of the above criteria.

CONTEST RULES:
1. All entries will be judged by Jondude with the assistance of mentalhealthrn (which includes occasional shipments of beads and pralines) and any volunteers who find avatars or posts that jondude may have overlooked.
2. Entries must me posted by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2006 (8:00 a.m. EDT) to allow time for judging.
3. Winners will be announced on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2006 (Halloween) at jondude's Blog - which is titled "jondude."
4. Entries MUST qualify by mailing jondude a notice that their entry is available for viewing and judging. Use Blogster mail! In the "Subject" line write: HALLOWEEN ENTRY. In the message simply type your Blogname. We will find your entries that way.
5. These rules are subject to change in case of weather, war, asteroids, computer crashes, imprisonment, natural causes, death of the judge (please, no!) or other unexpected influences. Watch this space for announcements, just in case.
6. No guarantee of prizes for winners is stated or implied. No members of the judge's family, his colleagues, girlfriend(s), pets, physicians or creditors may enter. The judge will not accept bribes or special gifts from anyone in Blogsterville during the term of this contest, material or otherwise. The judge will, however, hand out candy at his door.
