This is such a typical Baxter story ( for those of you who know of him from earlier tales)
I live in the area that received horrible those winds and storms last night. Around 1:00 am we heard something that sounded like possibily a bedroom chest that might have fallen over. We sat straight up in the bed.... listening for the noise again. We heard it again then realized it was... Baxter, jumping up in the bedroom window trying to get inside. (hitting his head or his body on the glass~ who knows)
The house we live in is over 80 years old and is there is always painting, roofing, or plumbing going on wiht it. A few months ago I managed to get the windows in Lynell's room, my bedroom and the dining room to open. They had been painted shut for I bet 30+ years.
Here is a photo today of Baxter.... he would rather slide under a window than go thru a wide open door.
( what was he in another life I wonder...LOL)

My dad always called our cats "Porch-climbers," which around here is the jargon for 'burglars.' My best to Baxter. Some cat!
Good old Baxter.Good post.
LOL My cats would rather we hire a doorman for their convenience. We do have a pet door but why use it if they can get Mommy and Daddy to open the people door for them. Lazy, little buggers. LOL
Love to Baxter from his newest fans, Winnie, Pooh Bear and me!
Hey WinWin and pooh!! ( from the bad boy Baxter)

Maybe a snake???? Poor Baxter! I'll bet he was scared out of his wits last night.
Baxter is like the rest of the cat world, they like to pull your chain, and get their way.
Bob, how did you put that cute kitten on there?
Our Lucy will hit the storm door at the house and it sounds like she is knocking it off the hinges..LOL She hates rain...so when it starts to get bad she wants in too. Glad that yall made it thru the storms ok..*hugs*
Baxter looks pretty pleased with himself in that picture. He really is a good looking cat.
Thanks Donna.... he and I bonded when he was a wee thing. I knew he was special then. <3
