( I am bragging so this title is "in my humble opinion"... :-) )
This weekend we will celebrate my grandson's 8th birthday.
"M" has autistic traits, but for those haven't heard me talk about him, just let me say he is very high functioning.
My daughter is now a single parent. She and "M's" dad divorced when he was 4 so she has had to make all the major decisions when it came to major things -- for instance, finding the right schools and moving to that area, getting him involved in soccer and activities, etc. This week she has him enrolled in a "bike course" for special needs children. He is doing a fantastic job and will be riding by the end of the week.
My hats off to you dear daughter. I raised two by myself for several years and it was no easy task, the things I went thru are nothing compared to what you are doing , all alone. Being in law school in addition, well, I just don't see how you do it. You are a stronger woman than I ever was. I admire you more than you know. <3
This weekend she is going to have his party and I just received an email from her showing me the coolest thing she is going to rent. I wish you could see a larger photo, but it is sturdy enough for adults. These are rented by the day.
It looks as though Saturday will be a fun filled day for all ... we will be praying for nice weather!
