My son who lives in Indiana is a paramedic. He came home and traded his nice 1998 BMW for a GMC with 4 wheel drive.... said he HAD to have it to get thru the snow and ice when he was on call. "Ok, your choice, I don't think it is a good one"
He trades for the used/new truck. One week later, it stops. He takes it to the dealer and they said, " son, you need a new engine" ! WHAT! We get it on a tow and bring it back..... 16 hours away. This has been 2 months ago. His truck is not ready. We let him take our 5 year old Ford Expedition back since he had to take Isaac back to his Mom's. He was going to drive back when the other truck is ready.
He just called and said, " this truck has low oil pressure, and there is no oil in it." My son is obsessive about his cars, keeps the oils changed, etc. I am going crazy here thinking now TWO trucks aren't working, how is this my problem?? It wasn't MY decision to change automobiles.
I told him to get his bike ready because he may be walking from now on..... Man, I am livid! Ice, Ice, I need to chew on some ice.
