Many know that on Christmas morning I was surprised with a gift from Carmelia ( the queen) cat and the other kitty friends. I have a blog somewhere on Christmas day as to what she wrote.
The cats have left small entries into the journals over the last couple of weeks. I in turn leave a little some for the husband to read to them.
Just before I was about to turn of my light I see the journal on my bedside table and there.... another note...written by Carmellia from all. This is what she wrote.
1-8-08 ( she's alittle ahead of herself)
Dear Cindy
Thanks for making our 1st Chrismtas extra special. We loved all the garland, lights and especially tinsel. A few more partridges in a pear tree would be a special touch. Our Queen, Carmellia had told us it would be wonderful, George the cat said "Bah humbug" and mumbled something about the ghost of Christmas past.
We saw all the hard work you went thru and watched your up and downs with the little disappointments and triumphs of the season.
We want many more Christmases with you and to that end we will gladly let you feed us, brush us and generally adore us as we deserve.
