Could you help me, Please?

May 29, 2008 / by MentalHealthRN

Folks,

I am wondering if anyone knows any organization that might help out with funeral expenses?  I have a friend that lives in another state and one of her close friends there has a nephew that was murdered. He was working during the summer to save $$ before he started his senior year of high school.  I am cking the Internet but am not having much luck.

Thanks so much guys.

I believe most states have some type of victims relief organization.  Maybe have your friend check with them additionally a lot of fraternal organizations, Elks, Moose, Rotary and the like may also provide assistance.

That is very sad and upsetting news!  You are such a good friend to be helping in this way.  I hope the advice you were given in the many comments helped because I don't have any except for knowing there are victim relief funds usually available in each state.

    start a "paypal" donation page?

$1.00 from many people would get the job done. I would give a buck for sure. wouldn't you?  Who wouldn't.

post his story on myspace with a donation link to paypal.  then post the link here and every where you can.  ask others to post it.

Make sure your paypal link goes to a separate checking account. and that all remaining funds start a trust in his name. keep it legal. and also, remove the money frequently.  paypal has been known to freeze accounts.

maybe start a victim burial fund with any left over money you get. You may have just discovered your lifes service work. we never know where our lives work will come from and why.

    this just in...
