Covered in Bees

May 3, 2007 / by MentalHealthRN

That's my love, Eddie Izzard.. however , he has nothing to do with this bee story.

One of the female patients came in today, saying- " I parked in the front of the hospital, and when I got out of my car I saw bees, swarming around one of the cars!!"

She called security and they said they had " called it in and a bee keeper was on his way."

I had to see this myself.

I walked outside and saw FOUR security guards- they had put orange cones around the  "car in question"... the back tire was covered with BEES!  Around 10:30 am they said they noticed a swarm of bees. Tyrone L., one of the guards told me, " they came out of no where, like a black cloud."

The "bug folks" were coming out with a bee keeper that would retrieve the bees, as they thought the queen had gotten tired and was resting.

I have never seen anything like this before.

Everyday you see something new, huh?

I heard a news story about the bees dying, does anyone know if they have found a reason why they are dying?

I think I heard it was Eienstein who said that when the bees go, it will only take four years and humans will be gone as well. that is some scary a-- shiat.

Killer bees are ridding us of our precious honey bees. Einstein was right. Without bees' pollenation, were sucking on rocks and fishbones.

Saw bees cover a small tree outside an MD's office once. A beekeeper came, sprayed them with sugar water (so their little wings couldn't fly), scraped them off into a container and took them home. Hmmmm.[HUH] Said they would "bee" just fine the next day because he got the queen also. [OHMY]

That is not good news to hear - We already have enough problems with the bees -[SAD][SAD] I truly wonder what it is that's happening to them? - There has been a lot of talk about cell phones - But that wouldn't explain the car......[HUH][HUH]

There was a similar happening at the University of Arkansas Medical School hospital recently. Bees were all over the emergency entrance area, and had to be vacuumed off the walls in order that the entrance could be used again. By the way, how did you get the national radar into your blog? [BLUSH]

That is very interesting. I just read an article a couple of days ago that the number of bees is dropping rapidly. Bee keepers are finding that more and more bees are deserting their hives. Now, we know where they are going!! Their headed to Mississippi to form hives on people's car tires.[LOL][LOL]
