2 More Days Then Swoosh

Two more days~ then off to Park City Utah.  Continuing Education is required when you are in the medical field. To keep your license, you are required to have  X  number of  "C.E."  hours each year.  The perk is you get to travel.  Early morning classes are over just in time to get out when  the slopes  open. Classes start again after the slopes close. ( how convenient)   This will be the first time in years that the husband and I have gone on a trip alone, no kids in tow.  I will finish my packing tonight~including my address book so I can send post cards!

Sports Weather

Tonight I start my photo shop class. We will meet once a week for three hours. I have my notebook and am ready to learn as much as I can. I will likely have to touch base with Jondude if this class is over my head.

    My son, the psychiatrist, gets to take these "eduactional" junkets. His trip
    recently was to lovely Tucson ! I have been to Park City in the summer,

    What camera are you using? Are you doing digital? I'm getting two Rebel SLR's for my kids, but trust me, I'll be the one playing with them. I love photography. I always photograph sports for the yearbook and I've gotten the knack of catching that outstanding play through the five years that I've done it. Have fun. I'll miss you! When do you leave?[OHMY]

    Right now I have a couple of Fuji 7000's which are glorified point and clicks with ISO shutter and aperture settings. My choice is the D50 by Minolta which I will be getting this year. Nice thing about yearbook is having access to the awesome cameras. That's where I get all my great shots. When I stop doing this, I'm going to invest in a digital SLR because of the great ISO (1600) which turns night into day literally. It also has other capabilities, but I mean really how many people need a 9megpixel camera! BIG Jpg![SMILE]

    well, one nice thing, Park City is a GREAT place to go, especially without the kids. The skiings wonderful, plenty of dining options. I'm jealous.

    Teachers have to keep taking classes too but I've never found one in a vacation spot. Must not be looking hard enough, LOL. Is your Photoshop class online? Do you get college credit for it? That would be right up my alley too. Have fun with your hubby![HEART]

    No, I went tonight to the college. It was WAY over my head, but then he seemed rather flighty in his lecture. Jondude could teach it with ease.[WINK]
