" Now.. Ginger-leigh"

February 19, 2007 / by MentalHealthRN

Today I had to take Bruce #1 back to the vet for his follow up appointment.  As I was walking in the door, an elderly black lady was steadily trying to convince her little dog that she should  happily walk through the  front door with us.  We smiled, exchanged our "good morning 's " as I listened & grinned as she  tried to talk her pup into being "happy" about coming to see the doctor.

" Now Ginger-Leigh, don't look at me like that."

" Ginger-Leigh, come back over here right now!"

I almost laughed out loud.... she was the sweetest little lady and "Ginger-Leigh" had her wrapped around her little paws.

I was trying to remember if it was LadySpain or Southwesterngrad that was trying to come up with a female name for their new dog.

Come on... Say "Ginger-Leigh" a couple of times~ it kinda feels good on your tongue, doesn't it?  I wonder what made her put those two names together?

Here are some photo's of dogs that look like they could be a "Ginger-Leigh"

Ginger-Leigh, huh? It's Lady Spain who is looking for a dog name, but this dog is a Husky. I'm just not TOO sure that Ginger-Leigh is the right name for a Husky!![LOL][LOL]

My friend calls her pet Placenta, which is a pleasant name if you don't understand English.[SMILE]

Ginger Leigh is a cute, I have never known a dog with a middle name before.[THUMBUP]

down South we almost all have middle names we use, if you are a female it is almost always a family name, or last night.. like Meagan-Parker.... we're strange that way.[BLUSH]

Wouldn't work for my Dolly. The maximum restraint chocker collar
would spoil the effect ! But, I do like it..........[COOL][HEART]

Thats cute. My cats NEVER think they should be going to the vet. Especially since there are usually dogs inside.
