** Glitter**

It's a neat thing when you need help and ideas & the first thing that comes to your mind is... I have some friends that might know how to help!

So, I'm asking creative minds to help me find a way to accomplish a child's request~
The redheaded grandson wants the ceiling in his room to sparkle. Remember on one of my blogs ( it might be "the star" ) he wanted a star when we were going to sleep and I found a jar of glitter glue, brought in the ladder ( late at night) and painted the star on the ceiling?
Well, last night he decided he wanted the WHOLE ceiling to glitter. Sounds easy, but the glitter I used was in a tube and of course that isn't going to work. Any ideas?
Got an update on the IRS. They got a check for x,xxx.xx but applied to another year or another account or someone else, we don't know. But the accountant said to make a copy of the ck and send it to him..... only problem now is I can't find the ck.. UGH! I have an email into the bank, I know that keep things on file there. So actually, they owe me xxxxx because the charged xxxx in interest! I was going to say I can't believe it, but I do.
Laterz Taterz,
Cindy

Dayum the IRS! Kinda cool that they owe you money tho. You should sue to get the interest since it will probably take them 12 years to give you your money back.

Glitter on the ceiling - try AC moore or Michaels? They probably have stickers that you can put up on the ceiling. My mom put the moon and stars in my nephews room for him and she got them at one of those arts and crafts stores..

    Good luck! [THUMBUP][HEART]

you sure are a cool Grandma! they make glow in the dark paint, start by painting stars glow in the dark and then use glitter stickers and such or try the glitter puffy paint. It sticks to just about anything and no mess really!

My suggestion: stick on. Get glitter stars, moons, different shapes in the "peel and stick" stuff. Michael's has it around here. You can get the glow in the dark or plain glitter. Good luck.[WINK]

how about going to the nature store and getting a little star or plantarium projector that puts the heavens on the ceiling.

When I had my day care I dobbed glow in the dark paint all over the cieling in the nap room. It almost lit up the room when the lights first went out but they gradually stop glowing.........about the time the kiddies fell asleep.[THUMBUP]

I forgot to mention that the glow in the dark paint is invisible when there is light in the room and should you ever want to get rid of it just repaint the ceiling.

buy a tube of glitter that you can sprinkle on paint and just mix it in with your paint.

An old place we lived in had glitter on the ceiling. What they did was used a textured roller and a lot of glitter in the paint. It looked great during the day and it really brightened up the room even in the night with just a small lamp on.[HEART]
