Oh! Now I see, Cindy.  The NO Jazz fest hasn't started yet.  This is just the scedule, right!?

    Do you plan to attend?

I've e-mailed your blog to several of my frends here to show them what's going on in New Orleans.  I'll be sending it to more friends shortly.

BTW, what do you think about the $600,000,000.00 of the HUD Katrina Homeless money being diverted to Gulfport, MS by your Governor to rebuld port structures for attracting new businesses, and casinos?

Wayman, Yes we will attend in New Orleans.

The $$ coming to Gulfport.... remember, Katrina HIT Gulfport, the rains from the storms flooded New Orleans. When it reached us, some 200 miles away, it was still a catagory II Hurriciane.  We had Casinos, Cruise boats, etc that were totally flattened. So... rebuilding the 9th ward, yes... rebuilding LongBeach, Gulfport, Biloxi a must. <3

Glad to see this historic event returning to The Big Easy.  I think those Mississippi and Louisianna areas that were hit hard by Katrina tend to get forgotten with all the emphasis on New Orleans...and Heaven knows N.O. took a terrible hit, but so did other places such as Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi and others.

so true, and imagine the dead animals we had... cattle, horses, unlike New Orleans death took it's toll in different ways. :-(
