" A Riddle"

June 28, 2005 / by MentalHealthRN

Ok, a lot of the "guys" seem to really get into riddles. It must be a male brain thing. So... here is a riddle. Will post answer LATER so you won''t see it when the page pulls up. ( like last time...duh me)

A horse is tied to a five meter rope in front
of an old saloon. Six meters behind the horse is a bale of hay. Without breaking his rope, the horse is able to eat the hay whenever he chooses.
How is this possible?

The post he is tethered to is more than a foot from the saloon.

The five meter rope is not tied to anything.

The Horse is Mr. Ed, and he simply asks someone to move the hay over.
