"Run, Toto, Run"

April 7, 2006 / by MentalHealthRN

I have been trying to get online today, but the weather is already affecting the cable company. I was watching the televison and saw....

So I went outside to have a look myself....

They said we would be getting....

THEN I  saw...

So I went back in the house..... I'm gonna pray and do this...

And just hang out with some friends.

Hope you are guys are in a nice, dry and warm safe place for the weekend.

Jenn, it is north of us Tenn is getting pounded, but the cable goes off and on and the winds are something else, it should hit between 3:00pm and 9:00pm, the worst of it anyway.[HUH][HEART]

thanks for that little trip Cindy! As you can imagine, it's dry and warm here. you stay safe. I actually miss the rumble of a good thunderstorm from time to time. Yeah, it's easy to miss the rain in Vegas.. [WINK][HEART][HEART]

the only time I ever went to Vegas they had a thunderstorm. The streets flooded and the sky roared... it was awesome, it seemed to surprise most of the people that lived there....[BLUSH]

we still haven't had any bad weather. I keep waiting for it. Not HOPING for it, you understand - just thinking that SURELY its inevitible. But nothing yet. Supposedly though we are going to get some in the early morning or sometime.

If you are in the north part of the state you may get it, it was going thru Huntville earlier. Jeff said he was HORRIBLE in Indiana.

We never got anything. And yet we are only about an hour and a half from Tennessee. I am feeling a little deprived of my fair share of death, mayhem and destruction. But then again, I DO cause enough of that in my everyday life I guess.

We got hit hard here. 11 deaths and much damage. Me and the cranky one are fine. When we went to bed the storms were on the way to dawgnurse's house. Can you believe LL refused to go to the store just because there was a tornado. What a sissy. Dosn't she know I need fed.
  • MentalHealthRN said 2 years ago
[HUH] Glad you guys are safe, knew you were in the path... we didn't get much here at all...just the north part of the state. I think Linda could let you go out to the store during the tornado.... shows trust... next time, run on out in the middle of the storm..you'll be fine.[BLUSH]

I was already gonna blog about our 39 days without rain here, when I read your blog. I'm sorry that we're hogging up all the good sunshiny days down here, but if we all try and think hard enough, maybe we can send some good weather up ya'lls way! [SMILE] [THUMBUP] Heres hoping that you have a rain free weekend ya'll!
