... ..So- 8 Days Later----

So..... Sunday afternoon as I  was vacuuming in the dining room , I looked out of the corner of my eye to see which cat had just walked by....( the front door was open)  IT'S  WAS TIGGER!  I stood frozen and called to my husband and said,

"You've got to come see this"

He walks in and says, " Where did you get that cat?"

I said, " This is TIGGER!!"

It was as though we were dreaming... after nailing posters for blocks and handing out fliers to the mailman, the garbage men and the local security cars, I just knew someone would have already found him. I never gave up but my hope was fading slowly.

Tigger was SO skinny!  Then I figured it out.. ( I think)  The people that live two doors down spend half the year in Europe and the other half of the year here. ( I've never seen anyone so they  could be aliens from another planet or the FBI for all I know.)  The owners have crews of people that do the yard work, maintained, and clean every week~ I saw a big truck in their driveway Sunday . My  guess is that the cat got in the house and was locked in.

This morning as I was petting him, I noticed his little arm had drainage. I scooped him and up saw that one leg was about 3 times bigger than the other one. I grabbed the cat carrier and off to the vet we went.

To make a long story short, something ripped his little arm open, either a raccoon or another cat. Tigger's white blood cell count was 28,500  which is very high. He had a temp and had lost 2 pounds!

He is home now, with a pin rose drain stitched into his little arm.

I have photos, but SOMEONE moved my cord that goes from my computer to my camera and I can't find it anywhere~  Don't you hate when people move your things and don't tell you about it? UGH

Anyway, Tigger is HOME!

Thanks to all of you who knew he would come home.... our pets sometimes have amazing adventures, don't they?

(Photos to follow when I find my cord.)

Cats really do have nine lives! And it's amazing how they can find their way back, sometimes from miles and miles away. Glad Tigger is home and I know you'll have him nursed back to health in no time.[THUMBUP][THUMBUP][THUMBUP]

Does seem unbelievable, but I think that cats and dogs will always come home if they are at all physically able.[SMILE][HEART][HEART]

Our vet recently took a 1.5 lb tumor out of our GiGi, plus one kidney. It's a long story.
