Do Not Make a Woman Cry

** Got this in an email, thought it was worth sharing.....

A  WOMAN

This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book
Where all of the sayings and preaching of

Rabbis are conserved over time.
It says: "Be very careful if you make a woman
Cry, because God counts her tears.  The woman
Came out of a man's rib.   Not from his feet to be
Walked on.   Not from his head to be superior, but
From the side to be equal.   Under the arm to be
Protected,  and next to the heart to be loved."
Pass this on to all exceptional women that you know..
And to men so they know the value of a woman.

It never stops amazing me how lovely biblical quotes can be. If only they could be present in the thoughts of all mankind permanatly, the world would be a sweeter place. These are the kind of teachings that should bring all religions together.[THUMBUP]

very nice, but then I live with a woman who is right there, by my side, and in my heart. And I don't make her cry, but am there when she needs to, and willing to cry with her if necessary.

Women are certainly more valuable than any man's rib!!! If we still talk as if a woman comes from a man we will always ""accept" than man comes first??!!

As a man I would like to say that no woman has come from my rib and I do not need to think they do to love them, respect them and care for them as I do for any other fellow human, woman or man. The bible is a nice book, but it was written at another time. I would like to think we are passed that way of talking and thinking in the 21st century. We behave like equals, we talk like equals and we will be equals.

Cindy, you know I think you are fantastic and enjoy your blog very much, but wanted to say this. [HEART][ROLLEYES]

This reminded me of a scripture in the Book of Mormon. I hope you don't mind if I share it here. "...Ye have broken the hearts of your tender wives, and lost the confidence of your children, because of your bad examples before them; and the sobbings of their hearts ascend up to God against you..."

That goes along with the things I was taught as a child, that women are to be loved, honored, cherished and respected. Any man who hurts or abuses women are not really men at all.

A local retirement center uses a picture similar to this one. The caption says, "The sun setting is no less beautiful that the sun rising". I like that. Too often our older generation is put aside instead of being honored. That is true for women more so than men...or so it seems. Lovely post.[HEART]

and, to think the government is trying so hard to keep these words of wisdom out of our school is so tragic. When a school turns off the mike while a girl is giving her graduation speech, because she began to thank God, is so wrong, so sad. These aren't just bibicial quotes, do unto others, respect your elders, don't steal, etc.; they are a way of living. We take God out of our schools, and put in metal detectors.[THUMBDOWN]
But, it is a beautiful quote. One I'll put on the front of my journal to remind and inspire me[HEART]

Women do not come from Man's Rib! The TALMUD IS WRONG!

Who is God? ET that fiddles with the Genes of Earthlings and produced Mankind? The Garden of Eden: An Experimental Zoo where Mankind was produced? 3 religions trying to keep the same story alive at the expense of "anything goes"  destroying all Natural lifestyles in the past 2500 years.

IF we didn't have 3 middle eastern religions [Judaism, Christianity and Islam] oppressive, abusive and degrading to Women, destroying her Natural attributes replacing it with some perverted "Rib of the man" wonder stories society would be better.

Some Talmudic Wisearse had a "moment of truth" in which he recognizes the horrific destruction Religion has inflicted on Mankind. Ye, Don't make your momma cry!Don't make your sister cry. Don't make anyone cry.
