Yes, This is a Spider's Belly

August 31, 2006 / by MentalHealthRN

Look at the things I have been missing!

In one week, I have gotten a photo of three different color and kinds of butterflies, missed a wonderful opportunity to get a photo of a hummingbird, and today discovered this spider when I was watering the SAME butterfly plant.  ( this is his belly, I dare not turn him over, I think he or she was working on the web)

This is their universe, and I thought it was just a plant in the corner of my yard.

Do you have any blue butterflies where you ,live. Sometimes I see them here. They would also make gorgeous pictures.[THUMBUP]

yes, we do. Actually I had a beautiful black with blue on the ends... a butterfly that was right there in front of me. I focus my camera and my big dog ran up and bite at it, scaring it away.. UGH, but I am still looking for this fellow everyday.. saw the hummingbird today, grabbed my camera and the bird decided to "lite" on a branch and sit there... that's a first for me. I've never seen a hummingbird sit perfectly still. I'll get em though...[WINK]

Those are amazingly wonderful pictures! Do you have a wonderful camera? I've been trying to get good pix with a cheap camera and it doesn't work that way. Do you have any recommendations?
